These only come in 18s. *Sniff* I won't cry I promise.
WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHY

18's look fine on a little car like that, are you wanting smaller or bigger?

he's goin straight for tha dubs

Smaller, I want 17's just cause everything is cheaper(tires and what not) plus it has a bit better performance(slightly). Also acceleration won't be slowed down by having taller wheels, this car is already slow enough. . . although I probably won't feel the difference.

You and your wheels, I swear man. We will have to throw you a party when you finally get a set. . .
![]() 06/03/2014 at 03:05 |

This will be one hell of a party. Although it may come sometime next year. . . I take my time with this stuff.

the classic "burden of choice" scenario...
for us NA owners: the RPF1's are over here and the 6UL's are over there, good day sir
![]() 06/03/2014 at 03:09 |
|
We have a lot of choices but the affordable choices are Rotas, Enkeis, or XXRs. I am still stuck on the first two . . .
![]() 06/03/2014 at 03:13 |
|
I mean, there are of course more choices for the NA but if you want high-performance, handsome wheels for low money, no need to look further than rpf1/6ul
Of course, our stockers are pretty good too. I'm not horribly motivated to get upgraded wheels + tires. Life is nice with moderate grip; you can drive at the limit without getting too crazy.

That is how I am feeling right now. While autocrossing I am slowly improving my times. I would have won C stock in my region if I was still in it(I am pretty much stock though). I am hoping to upgrade next year when I know my skill exceeds the current grip levels.

Also, I have nooo idea if your bolt patter/bore is the same as the NC, but if by some freak accident it is, 949Racing just rolled out a wheel in that size

thats what I thought at first

Rota's and XXR are affordable for a very good reason.
Keep in mind, you are replacing what connects your car to the ground. Do you really want to cut costs there?
![]() 06/03/2014 at 03:24 |

A year more of "what about these Rotas?" posts? Geez I don't know if I can handle it. . .
hahaha Just fucking with you.
![]() 06/03/2014 at 03:25 |

I haven't heard anything good about XXRs. Rotas seem to be more reliable, but I still wouldn't have piece of mind. If anything there is Enkei RPF1s, which are pretty amazaballz, if a bit ugly.

Listen I am set on what I want, I have narrowed it down to 3 choices!! I swear!!
Now it is a waiting game, of when should I pull the trigger.

Just buy them now and get some plexiglass and make a coffee table out of them until you are ready to use them. . .
![]() 06/03/2014 at 03:32 |
|
the eneki's look okay, they look like a wheel I'd use in gran turismo haha
![]() 06/03/2014 at 03:32 |
|
Or I could get some all seasons and mount them on the wheels, although wouldn't that defeat the purpose of getting a second set of wheels. . .

Lol
![]() 06/03/2014 at 03:34 |

Go with a coffee table so you can keep them out of the snow.
![]() 06/03/2014 at 03:37 |

It would make for interesting conversation that's for sure!
"Why do you have a wheel for a coffee table base"
"I'M RICH BITCH!!!"

Just remember to keep a bag of cocaine around.

Real men use 14" steelies with tires that cost more than the rims.

I just ordered PFO1 SS for my MX-5. Whatever you choose, rock it.

As a designer (it feels weird saying that, just graduated) I'm all about going for what the design was intended to be …. and those designers wanted them babies big. Go big or go home.

I don't need to remember that, it just comes naturally.
![]() 06/03/2014 at 12:50 |

I saw an AE86 with steelies and some Hoosiers, he was fast as hell.

Yeah but. but. but racecar!

Enkei makes some nice wheels but non come in the sizes I want! At least for the 5x100 bolt pattern.

Yes, and? (running 18's)
![]() 06/03/2014 at 13:44 |

Hey now! He upgraded the brakes, so 18s were a must. On another note, he is running Rotas!
